The Benefits of Public Speaking

Blog / How to public speak

Hey everyone!

Raise your hand if you’re a speaker. I better be seeing all of your hands raised because whether you like it or not, you are all speakers! Some may speak more than others, or get paid to speak to a crowd of people, but at the end of the day, we’re all speakers, and we all have the potential to master that platform.

With that, I’m so excited to share my next vlog (a fancy word for video blog) about the benefits of public speaking. There are so many juicy and exciting benefits to mastering that skill, so I encourage you to watch the video below.

What do you love (or don’t love so much) about public speaking? Leave a comment below and together, we will embrace those aspects!

Ready to take the next step on your journey?  I’d love for you to take that step with me by checking out my event- Speak and Write to Make Millions. Spots are limited, so join me! I look forward to serving you to your next level of possibility and prosperity!

I loved your video! I have to admit that you look and sound very confident when you speak. That’s what I need. I looked to register for the online courses but I did not see the below button to register. Could you tell me where to go to enroll? I also want to take advantage in going to San Diego with my sons. I’m a single mom of two sons. My oldest is a 23 year old graduated Antropologist working in a supermarket in the bakery department. And my youngest with 22 is on his senior year to become an Economist. And mama never remarried dedicated to work hard making sure to raise good, faithful, valuable citizens. I truly need this opportunity! Precisely today, I was talking with my boss telling him in how shy I was speaking the English language because in high school I couldn’t speak in front of my classmates. Including the time when the teacher gave us the homework to memorize a passage from Shakespeare “To be or not to be…” and to say it in front of the class I just froze and even momentarily lost my sight …everything turned dark because of it I got an F and I was extremely close not to graduate from my senior year… actually, that F brought my GPA so low that no college wanted me. Nevertheless, to fight my fears I moved to USA to learn the language. I still make mistakes but everyday I learn more. I’m giving myself a chance to have something different in my life and not burying my dreams like so many people have done in their lives. At 51, I’m just giving myself one more chance. I really want to make a difference especially in women, be a blessing and teach them to change their sons and daughters futures because our kids are the future of the Nations. Thank you for listening while reading. Waiting for your replied, blessings. Millie Aquino

    hey lisa,

I’m not sure what topic I would speak about. Although, as I type I see myself in my mindseye on a stage in front of a min of 2000 people. Weird, but I embrace it.

I get very nervous before I speak and wonder why I signed up to do it! But then I remember it is the content of my talk that is important and helpful and not me. I try to be sincere and speak from the heart. But those first few minutes are always scary no matter how low the numbers!

    Dear Lisa

I am in the quest for wisdom and attracating abundance in a harmonious way. I am going through lot of books, videos to understand and digest (started with all the teachers in Secret DVD). I liked your talk on the benifits of public speaking and will explore more on your website.

    Thank you

Ok, Lisa I am ready! Lets do this. Point me in the direction of trash can and then the podium. Speaking in front of an audience is effortless for you, thanks for making it look so easy!

Lisa, your email came at such a poignant moment for me. The possibility that I will need to speak at a conference on a topic that I’m still learning about.
    Thank you you are awesome.
